Singing Come Around

Spent the morning recording and adding an electronic stamp to a song by the prolific lyricist Rhett Miller, frontman of the Old 97s. This song was much talked about a few years back when it was featured on Scrubs, but I first heard it last Jan when a longtime friend of Rhett’s took me to his show at City Winery. I’ve hung out with Rhett a few times since then, and it’s clear he celebrates a broken heart as much as any singer I know. You know: runner’s get a runner’s high; singers get a sadness high. I get that bro. Hit play to see me caught on film singing.
