Hello and welcome!
My name is Inger, I am a 25 year old, Manhattan based singer/songwriter.
I was born and raised in northern Germany, but spent the last few years in the Netherlands finishing up my music study. I’ve been playing music ever since I was a little kid. I’ve been in many different bands and performed many different musical styles. However, I just recently started to write and perform as a solo artist. In early 2007, I started to write songs and present myself and my work as a solo artist. I recently moved to New York City. Besides doing research for my Master of Music program at Codarts, and enjoying this amazing city I play a lot in and around New York.
My first album For the love of Sound has recently been released and is now also available on iTunes.
I started working on my second album which will probably be released sometime next year.
I try to tell our stories my way...emotions, fears and wishes that words alone can’t express I translate into music.
