It's been a while since I last updated my news section...here's why:
A couple of weeks ago I moved to New York. I've met very nice people so far and I'm starting to feel a little home.
I was invited by different musicians to join them on stage and play with them which was really fun. Also did I play some open mics in Manhattan and Brooklyn. My first 'real', scheduled gigs are this month on august 26th and august 28th!

Dj Shah feat. Inger Hansen

Dj Shah and I produced a track together 'Don't wake me up'
The track is part of Dj Shah's solo album 'songbook', to be released june 9th!
Don't wake me up will also be the next single! (to be released very soon)
...the first and current single of Shah's album is 'Going Wrong' - Armin van Buuren & Dj Shah feat. Chris Jones

a small premiere video

I was happy to be a small part of this german/dutch movie...starring Esther Zimmering, Hannelore Elsner, Kim Schnitzer, Tygo Gernandt and Egbert-Jan-Weeber.

VIVERE celebrated its worldpremiere at the Tribeca Film Festival (NY) in the "World Narrative Feature Competition" section in April 2007.

VIVERE also obtained the "Artistic Achievement Award" at the Outfest in Los Angeles.

Starting 18.10.2007 in german movie theaters.

The airline found my guitar which is good news. They dropped it by the front door while I stayed the night in New York City. Back in Connecticut I found my guitar outside the entrance....gotten wet from the rain.

Anyway she's dry again and seems to work.

Since I got a new guitar from my tour guide to play my first show in NYC the other day now I got two guitars. So chances that the airline will loose 'em on my way back to Holland has increased drastically :)

It's acoustic session and I'll be their featured artist. Session starts at 8pm but I'll take the stage at around 10pm!

I am in New York....it's my very first time ever and I think I love it...

Bad news is the airline kind of lost my guitar...and since I got a gig scheduled in New York City tonight that's not to cool...but I guess I'll come up with something.

My final exam will be June 28 at EXIT (Rotterdam)
